Graduations

Dorothy's graduation was last week, and several things happened then too. Alice came back home to visit and that was fun. except the fun part. I didn't really talk to her this time and I know I should have spent more time talking, but I was watching House. Anyways, I did get out of the house a bit to drive around. haha. And I did get some exercise at the Y, but I really don't feel like running, though I know I need to work off some weight.

The commencement went well, and funny because Alice convinced me to bang pots and drum sticks with her when Dorothy's name got called. they really banged. hehe. I also got to see several old faces. More than I've seen all summer actually. I haven't gotten around to visiting anyone. at all. I actually do remember some of the speeches that people made. I remember a trio saying that we need to build character, and another guy saying ....spent several minutes thinking... that it was important to ask questions. I'm surprised I remembered. I don't even remember my own. haha

Auntie also came to visit for the graduation, and now I remember again why she sticks out. Yes she's by herself, but every time she is with people, she talks on endlessly, about things that we should learn, or not do. She does need more loving though. I just don't know where to find it. We had dinner at CPK, the first time in over eight years, and also at King Buffet. I didn't try to clams or the frog. I never would have thought too much meat would be a downer. CPK was good, but still on the pricey end; very pricey.


And yesterday, we had a talk. family. about college and the whole experience thing. Dorothy's off soon. fancy that

I've got

that I really need to pick it up a notch. I've  been trying to study more for math, and it's all jolly and whatever.

Go do something. with someone. be spontaneous more. enjoy summer. read a good book. several if possible. learn to cook. go to SF. bus around. go on a walk. go run. play tennis. work off the flab. Do stuff.

Interception

I finally watched Inception. and was scared for a while that my internet had been cancelled for dc++ing the movie. D: I can see why people hyped it up so much. Interesting concepts indeed. I have that paper left to do, and I still do not know how to improve it. I need a better perception of what I previously had a misconception of. I need to work towards a better reception of my failing paper is an exception to my usual work, and not give the common deception of my work as crass work.

I need to go work.

When time kicks it close

close or close. School is basically over. Just a few, four, finals, and it's all over. D: freshmen year is gone. O gah. I've been trying to think more, but all I can think about is about that board game. Iterations, data structures, method calling, helper functions. My brain is going to explode. After another late night going through the program changing data structures and making sure things worked and made sense, I hope it works better now.

this week and the next will be a roller coaster of studying and cramming. I need all the help I can get~
